Description and Role

Novocycle is an advanced battery technology and materials provider, currently working on lithium-ion battery recycling to deliver high-value battery materials sustainably. Novocycle like no other utilizes a novel dry-direct recycling approach enabling the direct recovery of active materials, significantly improving resource efficiency, reducing environmental impact, and delivering products at a far lower cost.

Within the SPRINT project, Novocycle is investigating recycling friendliness and recyclability of batteries to generate comprehensive reports and assessments. Herein, Novocycle is focusing on direct recycling technologies to obtain all components and the active materials without use of chemicals for quality assessments.
