TNO at Holst Centre is an applied research institute, which does technology development and demonstration to help the high technology industries in the Netherlands and Western-Europe to accelerate the market uptake of their innovations

TNO at Holst Centre aims to bridge the technology-readiness-level gap between the universities and the industry by developing and demonstrating technology for its partners within the application domains of Energy Storage, Health and Chip Packaging. Within the energy storage field, using a broad portfolio of large-area manufacturing technologies, Holst Centre works on the development of next-generation battery materials, the optimization of the scalable and sustainable production techniques for battery components, the integration of electrode and electrolyte layers in battery cells and the ways to solve the stability issues at the interfaces between the battery components.
