Last week, we were thrilled to see our partner PSI – Paul Scherrer Institut representing the Horizon Europe SPRINT project at the ACS 150 JACS Symposium at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, an event marking the 150th anniversary of the American Chemical Society.
The conference featured outstanding talks from leading experts in nanoscience and energy, including an inspiring lecture by Prof. Moungi Bawendi, 2023 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry.
A special highlight: our partner Kriti Choudhary presented SPRINT research during the poster sessions, sparking engaging discussions with an international scientific audience.

SPRINT is paving the way for cost-effective, sustainable sodium-ion batteries for stationary energy storage, using abundant, non-toxic materials from EU supply chains. By optimizing and demonstrating two safe, quasi-solid-state sodium-ion battery systems, we aim to reduce costs, improve energy density, and ensure safe operation, accelerating the transition to clean energy.
